I’ve been performing almost 5 years. Here are a few things I’ve done since.
I was a quarantine king, which means while some folks were learning how to make sour dough bread, I was learning how to beat a mug. I started performing in person as soon as COVID restrictions lifted and I haven’t looked back!
In January of 2022, I joined the Junior Chamber of Commerce Players, Pittsburgh’s official Rocky Horror shadowcast. Since then, I’ve performed at the last 2 national Rocky Horror Conventions, playing characters such as Pavi Largo from “Repo! The Genetic Opera,” Nation McKinley from “Shock Treatment.” I had the distinct honor of performing as Frank n Furter for the iconic “Sweet Transvestite” scene at the 2023 convention.
In December of 2022, I became a member the Velvet Hearts! a Pittsburgh-based all-LGBTQ+ variety troupe. In my time with the Velvet Hearts! I’ve had the opportunity to add more skills to my performing toolbox including the art of the striptease. I’ve also performed at the 10th annual Fierce! Festival at District West in 2023, and the inaugural Keystone Festival Teaser Weekend in 2024.
Making my nerdy dreams come true.
I’ve been a lifelong nerd since I watched “A New Hope” on VHS as a kid. Through performing and producing, I’ve been able to make those nerdy dreams come true. I co-produce a regular nerdlesque show at Harold’s Haunt, “Get Your Geek On,” and I’ve produced several successful sci-fi and space-themed shows at the immersive Space Bar in Downtown Pittsburgh.
